Biography of

Reverend Dr.Timothy L. Jordan, DMIN

Reverend Dr. Timothy L. Jordan was born in Rome, New York, and is the son of the late Deacon Edwin and Charlene Jordan. In his early childhood, Jordan was privileged to travel the world as a result of his father's service in the United States Air Force. Reverend Jordan most notably spent a few of his adolescent years in Okinawa, Japan. There he immersed himself in diverse cultures simultaneously learning multiple languages. Jordan was later educated in the Willingboro School System where he remains a local native today.

Reverend Jordan is a spirited, gifted, and anointed Pastor. In 2009 he was called to be the third leader of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church located in Trenton, NJ. Pastor Jordan has a dynamic and creative style of preaching and teaching. He holds visionary leadership, along with a mandate to Build, Bring and Bridge together the Church and Community while advancing the Kingdom Agenda. His altruistic spirit remains infectious in the ministry of Calvary. He continues as a strong advocate for progression while reaching souls “beyond the walls” of the Church.

Dr. Jordan has been blessed with the opportunity to preach throughout this country and abroad, proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jordan is the former Chaplain for the Philadelphia Eagles where he provided spiritual guidance and religious services to players, their families, coaches, and team staff members.

Serving and caring for people is not just a philosophy, but a standard of living. In and around the northeast Pastor Jordan holds numerous positions aiding in the development of the community. Currently, Jordan serves as the Vice Moderator of Area 3 of the Middlesex Central Baptist Association. Additionally, under Mayor Reed Gusciora’s Trenton Administration, Dr. Jordan is the Vice President of the CHANGE Committee and serves on the Sub Committee for less than lethal force and weaponry.

Jordan’s accomplishments don’t stop there. Furthermore, he is an Adjunct Professor, much sought-after lecturer, and Preacher for various religious and corporate American platforms. Most proudly, he is a soon-to-be-published author of his debut book “Preaching in the Footnote”.

Pastor Jordan's educational background is extensive and impressive. He is an advocate for education and continues to further his degrees, diplomas, and certifications. He attended the Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he received a Bachelor of Divinity Degree. He has also studied at Princeton Theological Seminary and the International Denomination Theological Center. In May 2014, Pastor Jordan received a Master of Divinity (MDIV) degree. Then, a few years later in 2019 received his Master’s in Christian Education (MACE). Both are from Virginia Union University, Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology, located in Richmond, Virginia. Most recently in 2022, Jordan humbly graduated Cum Laude receiving his Doctoral of Ministry Degree (DMIN) from the Morehouse School of Religion in Atlanta, Georgia.

Pastor Jordan is the recipient of numerous awards and citations, but it's his humble spirit that shines through best of all. One of his biggest blessings is his beautiful family. He is blessed with one daughter Brianna Lynn Jordan, one son Brandon Timothy Jordan; three grandsons Cameron, Landon, and Karmello; and two granddaughters Cali, Laila, and Zuri.

Somewhere; in between all of that, Pastor Jordan continuously gives God all the praise, honor, and glory for the opportunity to be his humble servant. His favorite hymn is "Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus" and his life scripture is 1 Timothy 1:12 " And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry."
